Slough Town Football Club is pleased to announce TeamMate as the club's official grassroots football platform.

Following a successful rollout in January 2026, TeamMate is now used across all of the club’s 38 teams, providing every coach with one platform to manage training, fixtures, attendance, matchdays, player development and communication. Ahead of the 2026/27 season, the club also adopted TeamMate's integrated registration and payments platform, making one of the busiest times of the year simpler than ever.

In a successful club-wide rollout:

435+ Player registrations completed
38 Teams onboarded
0 Paper registration forms

Built by grassroots coaches, TeamMate was created to give coaches everything they need in one place. From planning training sessions and managing matchdays to tracking player statistics, creating AI-powered training plans and analysing performances, TeamMate helps coaches spend less time on administration and more time developing players.

Because everything is connected, clubs also benefit from integrated registration, online payments, attendance tracking and club-wide management, all within the same platform.

Ashley Smith, CEO of Slough Town FC, said:

"Our priority was finding a platform that genuinely helped our coaches. TeamMate has given every team the tools to organise training, manage matchdays and communicate more effectively, while also making life easier for our club administrators.

"The registration process this summer has been incredibly smooth, and having everything connected in one place has saved our volunteers a huge amount of time."

Byron, Co-Founder of TeamMate, said:

"TeamMate was built by grassroots coaches because we've experienced the same challenges every volunteer coach faces every week. Too much admin means less time coaching.

"We're incredibly proud that a forward-thinking club like Slough Town FC has chosen TeamMate across the entire club. Seeing our platform support every coach while also simplifying registrations and payments is exactly what we set out to achieve."

Reda, Co-Founder of TeamMate, added:

"As a local business, it's fantastic to work with a club that shares our passion for grassroots football and recognises the importance of supporting local companies.

"Our vision has always been one platform where coaches can coach, parents stay informed and clubs can manage everything behind the scenes. Slough Town FC is a fantastic example of that vision becoming a reality."

Today, TeamMate supports more than 500 clubs and teams, 6,000+ players and has tracked over 10,000 matches. Coaches can use TeamMate FREE to manage training, fixtures, attendance, matchdays, player development and communication, while clubs can also take advantage of integrated registration and payments for subscriptions, tournaments, social events and more.

Everyone at Slough Town FC and TeamMate looks forward to continuing the partnership and supporting grassroots football both on and off the pitch.
